Organizational Outline
Steering Committee

Five (5) members:
  • Lisa Breaux
  • Hogie Siebert
  • Anya Burgess
  • Linni Haines
  • Caller, Steve Bing, Dance Logistics Advisor

Duties: collect & manage door money, snacks, coordinate musicians & caller, schedule dates, prepare and cleanup, grants, publicity, e-mail, announcements.

Any changes or additions to the above must have prior approval by the Steering Committee by consensus or democratic process.

Location: NuNus Nighlite, Town Market Rural Arts Centre, Arnaudville LA

Dates:  2nd Friday every other month scheduled by Steering Committee at beginning of each calendar year.

Time:  8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Fee:  $5 Everyone.  Exception: musicians and caller performing/hired for the dance.  Children under 12 yrs old

Music:  Live

Musicians:  3 Paid.  Alternating musicians for each dance date.  Visiting musicians can play at the discretion of the hired band.  Extra/Visiting paid musicians must be approved by hired musicians for the square dance and Steering Committee.

Caller:  1 Paid.  Visiting callers may participate at the discretion of the hired caller.  Extra/Visiting paid callers must be approved by hired caller for the square dance and Steering Committee.

Grants:  When any grants are received, those funds will be used to pay for space and instructor.

Requirements:  Visitor sign in sheet, instructor evaluation sheet, collect & return papers.

Clogging Lessons 7:15 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
